Spring It

"Spring has sprung" is the typical pleasantry we hear as the pollen count increases and neighborhoods prepare for their 'yard of the month' contests. Appreciating the season for what it is gets woven into sounds of flip flops and lawn mowers. Each season brings a new opportunity into a familiar setting. It's that same graduation cap on a different student. Big Green Eggs are smoking, and training wheels are removed from bikes and lives.Spring gets associated with cleaning and many frugal gal blogs will repeatedly boast the wonderfulness of baking soda and vinegar. At this time the world gets pulled into a pink and green filter with a bright, sunny exposure. New beginnings are happening and college acceptance letters are being sent out. As you sit in the traffic jam of life with her, smile and bring her an iced coffee, a reminder of how sunscreen combats wrinkles, and fill her kids with cool music they enjoy.
