Valentines candy, Easter goodies, sunscreen and bathing suits line store shelves one behind the other, offering a chance to eat a chocolate truffle, or a marshmallow chick, while wearing a tankini. Or, not. Valentine treats go on sale February 15, so if conversation hearts are your jam they should be half price soon.

I could make a metaphor about how your on-air conversation can be hollow like a chocolate bunny, or on target like updated Sweetheart messages: "Be Mine," "I Went to Get You Coffee," "The Dishes are Done," "I Separated the Colors and the Whites."

The language of love is complicated, but our listeners speak it very well, let them. The ever changing quality, or lack there of, with speaker phones and bluetooth's have challenged on air connection; when the quality is good, go for it. Nudge the love and let it flow.
