"And in that moment" has become a popular phrase with motivational speakers and leaders. Audio is the medium she can really live in that moment with. If she is listening to you, then you are in the moment with her. Does it sound simple? Perhaps. Should it be valued? Absolutely. I find that radio personalities relate to their listener based on how they are feeling in the moment.
Everything affects talent, a text from their child saying they forgot their gym clothes, or any studio interruption like a promotion person asking about availability for an appearance. These distractions happen. Refreshing the need of the listener is super helpful because they too are receiving distractions that want to steer them away from the moment. No matter the format, you have the ability to change her moment into something memorable, be it a good feeling or the desire to go to a cool event. Don't take it for granted. Seize that moment.
