It's a nice surprise when you roll up to the drive-thru and the window worker states that the car in front paid for your order. Suddenly you must decide if you'd like to share that smile and pay for the car behind you, or drive off and enjoy your treat. Either way, it's all good, and the drive-thru difference has turned into a phenomenon we mention often on-air. Now that COVID has changed our schedules and commutes, we need to dig deeper and find more ways to encourage kindness. Instagram pages like Upworthy and The Good News Movement reach everyone from moms to Jennifer Aniston with their positive content. When we see moms and sons dancing on TikTok go viral, it's because the connection is infectious and we enjoy trying to recreate those moments in our kitchens. We need to water the good so it can bloom--making two dinners and sharing one with a neighbor, leaving a note of encouragement on the mirror of a public restroom or your family bathroom. It doesn't have to cost a thing! Use your microphone for good, inspire her, high-five her, and lead by example.
