Bite

I was seated outside of a Mexican restaurant next to a table of happy foodies loving their experience, when a dog's head popped out the large back window of the Jeep parked by our tables.

This dog, Bella, belonged to that table of happy foodies who happily started sharing their food with Bella who happened to be eyeing my food too. The dog owners were in the best mood, the afternoon sun felt great and I was happy everyone was so happy. Bella’s owner asked if I minded that she was so close.

With a smile and a dog biscuit, I raised my glass and we toasted the next new normal.
