Ube is the new cauliflower.

Yes, you heard me right. If you were given a bowl of purple ice cream what flavor might it be? Grape, artificial plum, blueberry?

Try, yam-flavored. Ube is a type of yam and the new go-to for products that cauliflower previously dominated. Ube pancake mix, chips, and ravioli are waiting for you to question the look and hopefully enjoy the taste. It’s in everything and offers you a chance to feel full a little longer than its watery predecessor. It seems easier to stomach when compared to the green version of ketchup Heinz put out a few summers ago.
