The above text was sent to me from a good friend who works at said humane society.

She's a passionate dog lover who loves her animal related job. I received an email a few days prior to this text, inviting me to give on a day when the donations would be matched, complete with pictures of cute kittens and puppies.

But as opposed to the email, this personal text request had me calling in my donation right away.

That's what friends do, right? We support each other. We speak to friends daily on the air and social media. Here's hoping a personal text from you would get her calling too.
