And that’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown: positivity and warmth. Our listener needs to hear and see that it really is the most wonderful time of the year.

Last Christmas, COVID prevented this sentiment from being fully heard. Everyone was affected, from medical professionals to restaurant workers.

My oldest daughter found out two days prior to Christmas that her hair stylist tested positive for COVID, she just had her pink roots touched up and now needed to quarantine herself. Yep, that was our family dancing in front of her apartment window on Christmas morning with our own no-contact delivery of brunch and gifts.

This year, let’s make contact! Hang stockings, talk about the decorated Christmas windows, and houses with a ton of lights! Call Santa, feed Rudolph and bring joy back to the holidays!
