All it takes is one phone call to change her day. It could be the school nurse saying her kid is sick and she has to come and get him NOW. Meaning she needs to leave work NOW. Or find someone else to take care of her sick baby.
Either way, there is guilt involved regarding her job or child: two areas of major contention and stress for her. Big buttons get pushed when you mess with her family or work situation. Her calls range from doctor appointment reminders to creditors. Or perhaps it's the breeder and the puppies are ready.
Not getting an expected call could be just as bad. Whatever the scenario, her life changes on a dime and she is constantly swinging at whatever is being thrown at her.
Think about yourself as the pitcher. Think big, ala Mariano Rivera-best pitcher ever! (Note comment box below for everyone except Red Sox fans). Whether it's a slider or a curve ball, she's eyeing you and ready to play. Make it count and remember pitchers and catchers and the rest of her team are in full swing. She does like her sports.

Valentine's Day flowers could be arriving soon. Here are some tips to keep that bouquet last longer:
- Dissolve flower food in lukewarm water and add flowers, stems cut at an angle.
- Place vase out of direct sunlight.
- Refresh water with more flower food and trim the stems every other day. She can substitute equal parts water and lemon-lime soda for the flower food.
What's her favorite city scent?
Here's how some New Yorker's answered:

She pet
Here are some tips from my local vet, to help make pet visits go more smoothly:
- When making an appointment, use your name, not "Rover's Mommy."
- Always bring your pet into the office on a leash or in some type of carrier. Do not carry them yourself.
- Bring only the pet that needs to be seen.
- Do not play vet in the waiting room and advise other customers on the care of their animal.
- Write down and bring your list of questions.
