If you have an event coming up, give her plenty of advanced warning. Her June calendar is already pretty full with proms, graduations, and dance recitals. July and August get clobbered with family gatherings, summer camp and vacations. She pretty much plans out almost every hour of her day stealing some time from one activity to cover another. She'll drop one kid off at sports practice and run to get a few groceries while they are practicing. She'll balance a checkbook while waiting in line to pick up another child from school. Summer camp deposits are due now and if she wants to get her pick of beach houses, her summer vacation dates are blacked out now. Her calendar is a magical page that houses everyones' whereabouts. There is always something going on or someone who needs a ride somewhere and when she does not need to don the chauffeurs cap, she is pretty happy to stay put. If you have something of value that she must attend, invite her early- pretty stationary is optional. Or better yet, why not give her a driver for a day? It doesn't even have to be a limo, just someone who will cart her and all her kids to and fro from where they have to be. Throw in a home-cooked dinner and she will be your BFF.

She shopping tips
The Food Marketing Institute showed these shopping finds:
Men are more likely to stick to a shopping list.
Major brands pay more to have their products placed at eye level on store shelves and on the end caps. Better deals can be found by looking at the lower shelves.
For every 100 items, two are scanned at the wrong price; she needs to check her receipt.
Most non-food items like toiletries and cleaning supplies are priced much higher at the grocery store than at a place like Target.
Fresh and frozen fish can have the same level of quality, yet frozen can be priced about 40 percent less.
Premium and generic store brands don't have many differences.
