I celebrate the birth of my first child today. An experience most women never forget and love to talk about with all the sordid details sounding best off the air. Oh you might be able to get away with knowing that the LDR room stands for "labor, delivery and recovery", you can also agree that "It's only a pain a woman could know" but that's enough. Welcome the baby, wish Happy Birthday and move on. For as many women who are moms and love to talk about Mommydom there are also many who don't want to hear about it for a variety of reasons; she's single, divorcing, not able to conceive or just plain doesn't like kids.
My daughter is five years away from the tip of this fun female demo we serve. Motherhood for me has been a wonderful experience, not without it's challenges (teaching teens to drive gets great phones) and I'm really proud to watch her move through college as I move into the next phase of my life as well. I might not be an empty-nester yet but there are many listening and enjoying a second lease on life. These empty-nesters once listened to win concert tickets for their kids, now they listen to win for themselves. Really, who do you think Bon Jovi is selling out to? By the way I saw them last night at the Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey they are were and always will be A-MAZING! My ears are still ringing and my face still smiling.
This is the day that will hopefully kick off a three day weekend for her. Or she has an opportunity to make some holiday pay. Either way she's busy. She's packing up herself and or family for a weekend away, purchasing groceries for a barbecue, remembering sunscreen or she's already stuck in holiday traffic, listening to you. My advice...play her some Bon Jovi and wish Haylee a Happy Birthday for me.

She fact!
- Ice-cream season is in full swing; re-
- member that a "serving" is a half a cup,
- which is about the size of a tennis ball.
- Most cones go way over the limit of
- what she would like a serving to be. If
- she does not want the temptation, she
- should order a kiddy cone or stick with
- single-portioned, pre-wrapped treats.
She question!
What is her favorite thing to grill?
Grill Tips!
- Keep grill clean by using a wire brush
- Cut fat off meat to avoid fire
- Turn or flip food, do not stab it-that releases too much natural juice
- Baste when meat is almost done
- Use a thermometer
- Let meat rest, allowing meat to stay juicy
