Memorial Day marks the beginning of summer and the official OK to wear white. Funny how a calendar can control every second of her day, and now it's telling her what to wear. Only some listen, most don't care; as long as it looks good, she's wearing it. BBQ, beach trips, and family get-togethers surround this holiday, requiring her to dress herself and family appropriately. A day at the beach always requires food, towels, changes of clothes, toys, chairs, and water. The amount she needs to lug around, just for a couple of hours on the beach, is crazy. If she's hosting a cookout: food, condiments, charcoal, drinks, and lawn toys-again numerous items are needed. This has her shopping, making lists, and saying YES when a guest offers to help and bring a dish. Tanning booths are busy with she who is either not aware of the dangers or, again, doesn't care. Her kids can smell that the end of the school year is near and she tries to keep them focused on their end-of-year projects when they would much prefer to play outside. This is a short week for many, yet there are some who will enjoy some holiday pay after working on Monday. Whether she's punching an actual time clock or not, she still has work to do. Her car needs a wash; there is a birthday party she should start planning; and a friend dealing with a terminal illness with whom she would like to spend more time. This is not a multi-tasking issue, but an exercise in time and heart management skills.
She holiday
Memorial Day is a United States federal holiday. It is a day for commemoration and appreciation for the U.S. men and women who died while in military service to their country. This day celebrates our lost heroes and is a bittersweet occasion, with many of our troops still fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Be sure to recognize these heroes and their families on the air today.

She stats
The Nielsen Company finds that the largest portions of viewers for American Idol (20%) are 35-49 years old. More than 1 in 5 viewers (22%) are under 25 years of age. The average Idol voter texted the show 38 times in April, with more women texting-in than men (44% more).
A recent USA Today poll found that older drivers (Gen X) were more likely than teens to multi-task while driving. Half of Americans acknowledge that phone calls and texting are the dangerous distractions yet 81% state they do so anyway, regardless of state laws. Bluetooth devices can also be unsafe because 80% of car crashes happen because a driver is distracted.
