It's a short work week for many and there's a good chance that these last couple of days have had many playing catch up at work due to the time off we had for Memorial Day. Regardless, Friday's are usually a challenge at her place of employment whether she gets to "dress down' or not.
Food in the workplace can be tempting and disgusting. One burnt bag of microwaved popcorn can really throw a disturbing scent into an office space that lingers all day. It clings to the air around her desk, sticks to her hair and clothes and everyone knows that someone messed up and got a lousy snack. It's quite the opposite with a freshly popped bag, then you find a few hungry friends that think your brilliant in the kitchen.
It's scary inside an office refrigerator, there are plastic bags with uneatable contents that have grown moldy and watery. Even though employees are instructed to "label their food" there's a bunch of unnamed greek yogurts, half-eaten sandwiches and and cartons of Chinese food tat go unclaimed for months or until one brave worker is assigned the awful task of cleaning out the box. . Some morning shows have made a great "bit" out of cleaning out the office refrigerator on the air.
She'd like to be the person displayed in her favorite health magazine that packs a healthy lunch complete with bean sprouts and 12 grain bread but there's only so many hours in a day. She probably packs a better lunch for her husband and kids than she does herself. Or if she does bring goodies from home she shares. This is not a "woe is me" tales it's a stay away from her popcorn reminder.

She Health
Thyroid cancer is rare but statistics show that it is increasing. She should remember to ask her doctor to check her neck. Thyroid cancer is more likely to occur in people who have undergone radiation therapy of the head, neck, or chest during childhood. Before 1960, radiation was commonly used to shrink enlarged tonsils or adenoids, to treat skin problems, and to reduce an enlarged thymus gland in infants. www.checkyourneck.com
