Time After Time

I've already seen my first sign of fall; it was a beige leather, weathered shirt for sale at The Gap, definitely not summer wear. Now is the time to get great deals on most summer items, especially clothes- if she can find her size. Those who shop the clearance rack usually have a great eye, or are handy with a needle and thread. To me, sale items are usually the pieces no one else wanted to buy; the stuff that's just kind of cool and now, because of the lesser price the value of this item increases because it can be purchased as a great "deal". Once in a while you can find something really great but let's face it, the stuff being sold at a discount is to make room for the next season coming in. Clearance bins are also usually very messy and filled with mixed matched sizes. I made the mistake of trying to find something at a local swimwear shop's sidewalk sale. I found a bathing suit top for ten bucks (a steal) but the bottoms were nowhere to be found. In an attempt to be a little edgy I sorted through seeking a bottom that could have matched, but to no avail. My time spent digging and searching would have been better spent inside the store trying on a regularly priced item. Time is a precious commodity in a woman's life: she stretches her schedule to accommodate all who need from her: family, work and community. She notices when something is taking too long or not worth her time (hence the search for a cheap swim suit). And even though she won't ask for it, she also notices how much time is being spent on her. Forget about hitting the post; make sure she knows your choosing to spend your time on her today.
