I'm the only one in my family that doesn't have a green thumb. I sport something more like a french manicure. I can't grow anything. My grandfather was a master planter and he and my grandmother lived off this garden year round. My mother grows flowers with blooms more vibrant than Lady Gaga's hair and my brother grows picture perfect vegetables his kids devour daily.
A new recipe had me searching for five different herbs in my grocery's produce department. I was challenged by the price and size of the herbs I was wanted to buy. They are packaged in such a large quantity, more than I needed for the recipe and they were quite pricey. I decided it would be more cost effective if I figured a way to grow my own. After numerous attempts my desire for fresh basil seemed dismal.
A friend recommended I get a Aero Garden saying "even I couldn't screw it up." And she was right, within weeks I had fresh basil, cilantro and parsley. It's a great way for anyone to get fresh herbs, especially apartment dwellers as it does not take up much counter space. Yes my grandfather might be disappointed that I'm not actually growing this stuff in the ground but batteries are a beautiful thing in my world. She can grow her own too by checking out AeroGardenStore.com
She screams for ice scream
In the U.S., the average person eats six gallons of ice cream per year. Almost 10% of all the milk produced in this country ends up in ice cream. Ice cream and frozen treats in the U.S. equal $21 billion in sales. She better stock up on the Ben & Jerry's ice cream because prices on all diary products are increasing due to the economic challenges to today's dairy farmer. How much will she pay for ice cream?

She's not so sure
For those whose applications did not get accepted for Extreme Makeover, there is a cheaper way to get plastic surgery results, but she must be willing to wear a Face Bra. When used properly, this non-surgical, all-natural device is supposedly like a mini facelift and facial. One look at this contraption will show you why she's just not so sure about this thing. Wrinkles may be the better option. To order, head over to www.facewrap.com.
She facts
According to the National Weight Control Registry, 90% of successful dieters use work-outs to sustain their results.
She's Single
The single she has been asked to be the maid of honor in a wedding. Being in a wedding is very costly, and here's what goes with the honor:
- She should expect to pay for her dress, and hope it's less than $200-it depends on how expensive the bride's taste is.
- She is also expected to pay for alterations to her dress, matching shoes, jewelry, and her hair done on the day of the wedding, the bachelorette party, and the bridal shower.
- She should expect to be available for the bride at any time, bossed around, and yelled at for any given reason.
- She may even be told to get on a treadmill or a diet if the bride is not happy with her weight!
- She loves her friend, but the stress of a wedding can turn any fun-loving girl into a bridezilla!
She vent!
