Grocery shopping is a good test of a woman's integrity. Strolling through the aisles you'll find women with well thought out lists, coupon wallets, store circulars and even calculators. Some are major label readers and others throw items into their cart in the attempt to just be done with it all. Purchasing just what's on a list and not getting sidetracked is difficult.
Labeling comes into play with the never-ending confusion regarding the difference between low-fat, no-fat, calorie-free etc. Does she really know the difference and how deceiving these labels are?
Take a look inside her cart. This will tell you much about her. You'll probably find the usual bread, milk and eggs with a decent portion of fruits and vegetables along with chips, cartons of ice cream and Hostess cakes.
Who eats the sweets can only be determined behind closed doors and I would not advise following her home just to point a finger. She knows exactly what she's doing at night when she microwaves her carton of Ben and Jerry's so it's the perfect movie watching consistency. No one ever plans on eating the entire thing it just happens. Single she's tend to purchase more pre-made "healthy choice" meals. Those frozen bricks of noodles and what tastes like tomato soup usually needs a accompaniment of ice cream too. Smart gals won't purchase household products like cleaners at the grocery store, these things are much cheaper elsewhere at a K-Mart or Target where, what do you know ice cream is also sold. Ahh, the perfect pairing; a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and Edy's Rocky Road.
Right now she could be:
- Paper training a puppy

- Changing a bicycle tire
She buzz words

- Souvenir

She Pet
Approximately $40 billion will be spent on pets before 2011.
Pet ownership is at an all-time high, and so is the money spent on products for these pets, whether it is nutritional food, a leash, or a wig-yes, a wig. Ruth Regina has been a wig-maker to the stars for a half century. She did the makeup on the Beatles before they appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show. Now, after styling the fussiest celebrities, she is going to the dogs and has designed a line of wigs for dogs. Nowadays dogs are wearing tiaras, tracksuits, and suit coats-why not a wig? The wigs are custom designed, taking into account where their ears would come out, and are feather-light and comfortable-or so she says. Priced around $25, she can have her pooch in the latest style by logging onto www.wigglesdogwigs.com.
After a recent survey, www.Petfinder.com found that many pets are being left behind when someone in the military is called to active duty. Now included on this site is a list of Military Services Pet Tips, designed to help soldiers to find the right care for their pets while they are deployed. There is also information on becoming a "foster parent" to one of these needy animals.
