It took only 22 seconds for New York's Now 92 afternoon guy Tik Tac to embrace me. What could come off as a simple phone call spoke volumes to many women. A Jersey girl from a large hair salon called Tik Tac to tell about job opportunities that were available at her establishment. These jobs required skill, a basic license and the desire to work in a cool atmosphere that pumps "NOW". Tik Tac wrapped this bit perfectly by saying he'd place this info on the stations Facebook page, bam, done deal, the call; perfectly produced, finished by slamming into a hot Lady Gaga song.
What a woman heard during this break (that did not even start but only ended with call letters) was that this station understood who she was and what she cared about. It offered the chance for employment (not a bad idea in these fun recessionary times), it provided an outlet for the community as a posting board, it enabled an "at work" business that obviously supported NOW, to air their need and plug their shop all while giving a true area sound. It involved social networking and a way to retrieve information easily. If nothing else "she" heard of a fresh place to check out should she be seeking a new hairdresser, all while hearing a song that made her feel good. This was a home-run all around, believe me hair and music are big deals with women. All on-air breaks should speak this loudly.

She Travel
The shrinking dollar has her scraping for new ways to vacation.
www.Priceline.com has received varied reviews, booking more hotel rooms than airfares lately. As she shops around, www.BiddingForTravel.com can provide her with info on how others fared with the fares.
Shipping luggage ahead could simplify her airport experience if she is willing to pay. Besides FedEx, UPS, and DHL, she can price out these companies:
- Luggage Forward: www.luggageforward.com
- Luggage Concierge: www.luggageconcierge.com
- Sports Express: www.sportsexpress.com

She questions
- Was she supposed to be named something else? What?
- Can she tell you where all her money is spent?
She give
Give a gift that will never be forgotten: perhaps a family white-water rafting trip or an 11-lighthouse helicopter tour. The list of options is quite impressive (and pricey) at www.excitations.com.
She vocabulary
Mommy SWAT team. SWAT stands for "Smart Women with Available Time." These moms really don't have extra time (come on...they're moms) but they have available time to work at consulting jobs, preferably from home and in the same career they had pre-kid.
