Shopping in an overly packed, popular store is something I prefer not to do, but still found myself doing just this yesterday at the H&M in midtown Manhattan. H&M offers hip and affordable fashion with many options. Style is key here, and it's rare I can't find something I want to purchase, in fact quite the contrary. This store was packed to the brim with shoppers yesterday and I did not have the good sense to cut my losses and leave. I choose, (read that again because I'm taking the blame), I choose to stay and shop in the midst of tourists, hard working women and teens looking for fashion. Lady Gaga blared overhead as I made a beeline for a cool looking coat. Another woman, looking a lot like a Kardashian came out of no where and started fingering through the exact rack I was working through. And just like a scene out of a movie we both grabbed a size 6 at the same time, the only size 6 on the rack. We both held on for dear life while smiling brutally at each other. No words were exchanged but if looks could kill, well you know where I'd be. For three minutes we looked at each other running scenarios through our heads about what happens next. Her perfume mixed with sweat was really starting to bother me so I finally said 'you win' and let go of my part of the coat. She smiled and folded it under her arm and sashayed away. I'm not afraid of confrontation, but that coat was so not worth it to me. Had it been a cashmere sweater marked 50% off that might have been a different story. Later I saw her at the check out. I had done very well in finding a few dresses and jeans. She purchased one simple sweater telling me the coat did not work out for her after all. Did I run back and look for it? No, who needs to wrap themselves up "that" everyday.

She Fact
According to the Daily Mall Reporter, most women claim to be attracted to tall, dark, and handsome men but a new study shows that facial stubble and a geeky personality are now what is attractive to a woman. In a study, 41% of women preferred the unshaven look while a geeky personality came in second.
