Cute kid costumes are everywhere: Target, Costco, Marshall's and of course the Disney store. I remember when Disney first offered Princess Costumes; I bribed my daughter with a Cinderella gown, as she received it in exchange for being a good team player when it came to taking care of her Diabetes. The sixty dollars was well spent, as it was my daughter's reward for learning how to tell if she had low blood sugar. Yes, she has Type 1 Juvenile diabetes, and sugar-laden Halloween has always been a challenge for her, whereas it should have been a sugary-high time like it is for most kids. This gown represented her moving into a new place of independence. "Bribes" is a whole other column and great show topic. Right now costumes is a buzz word, including pieces in lieu of princesses, Lady Gaga, Superheros, monsters and animals. These and many more are for sale in all shapes and sizes and are available for purchase or how to instructions are readily available for the crafty she. Toddler options include Pirates, Zebras, Pumpkins and Yo Gabba Gabba characters. Just log on to CostumeExpress.com and check them out, then join me in one big consecutive awwww.
