Last week was incredibly rough for many of my close friends. To sum up the realities, I had one friend woken at 2 AM, her 83 year old mother had fallen, hit her head and needed to have emergency surgery where her brain plate was removed. Another friends brother in-law needed brain surgery as well to remove blood that had mysteriously pooled inside his head. My friend Barb's best friend Sandy's daughter was found drowned in the Deuthes River in Oregon, perhaps you read the front page story about this. And finally I lost my dear friend Karen Sibilia, who after too many years and a valiant, faithful fight against cancer, knows what heaven is like. Praise God. That's a lot of life in one week! Granted it's not common that so much happens all in a small time frame but still these are events that are happening to the listener right now. A spoonful of sugar won't help the medicine go down with this stuff but a consistently focused talent who she considers a friend can break through the clutter in her mind as she travels through good the bad and the music, along with the love, loss and what she wore today.

What's the most amount of money she's spent on a eating out?
She Vent
"You must rinse the dishes off before putting them on the dishwasher, not throw them in with caked on waffle bits and syrup."
She Saves
Prescription drugs are more reasonable if she takes the discount-drug program route. Meaning she needs to go generic and use outlets like Walgreens, Walmart, Target and K-mart, there along with insurance plans they can get a 90 day supply for a 30 day cost after enrollment and of course some restrictions apply.
Wine
Costco is the largest wine retailer in the United States and you don't need a membership card to purchase wine or prescriptions at Costco. One gentleman thinks the wine at Costco is so substantial and well priced he writes a blog on it; CostcoWineBlog.com
