My friend Anthony is a cast member in the Broadway production of Wicked. He talks about work the same way you and I do and he has the same concerns, triumphs and issues with the addition of physical challenges. His knees are banged up after many years "on the boards," with his first show being Starlight Express, a musical done solely on roller-skates. I'm amazed at how real he is both on and off stage, especially when I parallel that with the fact that many people save up to go to New York City to see his show, it's another nice slice of life. "She" has many different types of friends as she is unique in her own right. Executives, surgeons, actors, bankers, nurses, school teachers, foreign diplomats, politicians. She's someone's friend and whereas she might not be wearing a PPM meter, she's definitely mingling with those she can influence. Relate to her and she'll be a good influence for you. And if you do go to New York to see Wicked be sure to include the Saturday morning special program called "Behind the Emerald Curtain", it's a wonderful showing and telling of all things "Wicked," usually hosted by my friend Anthony, www.Wickedthemusical.com
