If we stop focusing on just trying to be cheapest -- or most easily managed -- in our market and instead work on finding ways to prove we are best, noticeably better than every other station in our town, billing will never be an issue

If we stop focusing on just trying to be cheapest -- or most easily managed -- in our market and instead work on finding ways to prove we are best, noticeably better than every other station in our town, billing will never be an issue.
We must stop thinking as accountants and begin thinking again as artists ... people who share important info as it happens, people who speak to real lives, friends we've learned to trust who share stories and songs, which are, after all, just stories set to music, that connect on an emotional level.
When she feels we are speaking directly to her, addressing the issues of her life, she will listen every day and she will share her passion for your station, and no streaming service can do anything about a connection that deep.
When they feel us, receiving credit for hearing us won't ever be a problem.
