So That Didn't Go As Well As Planned
-
The Mets finally make it official and fire Jerry Manuel and Omar Minaya, the management that led the franchise to spend a huge amount of money for increasingly poor returns. Only the Washington Nationals' ineptitude kept the Mets from last place, and the Nationals won't be bad forever. Can new management fix the Mets? I hope not; Their misery has been the Phillies' (and Braves', and Marlins') joy. (New York Post)
