Odds Are Pretty Good That He'll End Up Back In Jail Anyway
-
New Hampshire's new sex offender law that releases the pervs nine months early to a halfway house has an unusual opponent: one of the first sex offenders to be paroled under the plan. The state is insisting that he go to a halfway house in the area and go look for a job in town. He, a guy who raped a 7-year-old says he would rather stay in jail, where he has a job, and finish his sentence and then go back to New York where he can start a new life. He adds that the only people he knows in New Hampshire are the "bad crowd" that will lead him into bad things. Why is the state so eager to let this guy back into society? It's cheaper this way.
