Tougher To Do Than Throwing That No-Hitter
-
While Roy Halliday overcame getting squeeed by the home plate umpire on the strike zone to win the do-or-die Gane 5 of the NLCS, he overcame something even more difficult: He suffered a groin pull in the second inning and kept going. Anyone who's ever pulled a groin muscle -- I trust that's most of you -- knows how hard it had to be to get back out there and throw strikes. Oddly enough, I'm also gutting it out right now, writing through a severe headache. Yup, me and Roy, tough competitors. (Philadelphia Inquirer)
