The Wedding's Better Than Any Of The Alternatives

An Ohio judge let a 17-year-old girl get married without parental consent. Seems she's pregnant, and she told the judge her parents would force her to have an abortion if she stayed with them. Interesting that the judge never asked for the parents to come into court and testify, just taking the girl's word for it. In case you were wondering, every state requires parental consent under 18, but Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, and Oklahoma allow pregnant teens or teens with children already to marry without parental consent. So there you go. (Fox News)
