Someone Dies, You Give The Refund. Simple
-
It may have been a misunderstanding, as the catering hall says, but, still, there should have been no delay or question about a refund for a family whose wedding plans were canceled when the bride died. It was more than a year in advance, it was $1,000, and the hall should have expedited the refund. In fact, they shouldn't have needed to be asked. And if there was some question about how to apply the refund -- the deposit was on the bride's credit card -- they could have just cut a check or issued a credit. These things don't need to be complicated. (WEWS-TV/Cleveland)
