Here's a good reason not to run marathons: They cause heart damage. But that's temporary heart damage, and, long term, marathon runners' hearts get stronger. On the other hand, that's evidently how people drop dead during marathons. But that's a very small number of runners. So... run if you want. (LiveScience.com via MSNBC)
