This guy went to the Dominican Republic and used his Verizon wireless modem to connect to the Internet. He got the bill: $17,000. He can't pay it, and Verizon says he owes it. That's what it costs when you go roaming internationally. But I thought everyone knew that. Should they hold him to it? And if they don't, does that mean everyone can go use their devices overseas and then claim that they didn't know it would cost so much? (Philadelphia Daily News)
