Here's something else which we can blame for obesity: Standard Time. Yes, there are researchers who think we should be on Daylight Saving Time all year, because we'd be more likely to be active after dinner with more daylight. But even with DST, it would get dark earlier, and for most people it would still be dark by the time they got home from work. Let's not tinker with the clock any more; It's confusing enough as it is.
