A Casino In A Sketchy Neghborhood. What Could Go Wrong?
-
They built a casino in Philadelphia, right there on the waterfront near Fishtown, and before it opened, a lot of people warned that it would be a bad idea and would attract crime. But the place opened up, and, sure enough, there have been two incidents so far, one in which a guy was followed home after winning and attacked, and the latest, in which a woman walking out of the casino was pistol whipped and robbed right there. You put a casino in a city like Philly and there aren't security guards all over the place? How crazy is that? (Philadelphia Inquirer)
