If It Has Indoor Plumbing, It's Worth The Money

Most log cabins are small, cheap, and basic. But then there's the government log cabin. When the government is involved, you get a $450,000, 2,800-square foot cabin with a lake view. It's meant as a retreat and meeting place for Oak Ridge National Laboratory, but it has no overnight accomodations; it's just a big cabin. The good thing is that no federal funds were used for it, but it's now owned by the Department of Energy, so it's yours.
