No Wonder It Was Cheap
-
This couple bought a house in Bristol, PA, a blue-collar suburb of Philadelphia, and they got what they thought was a bargain at $190.000. Too bad they discovered only after moving in that the place had been a meth house and they were being poisoned by the residue. Meth didn't come up in the inspection or the title search, and it turns out that it's totally the buyers' burden to research to find out if a home's been used to make meth. Keep that in mind next time you think you've found the perfect house. (CNN)
