Assume All Dressings Aren't Good For You, Use Sparingly, Stop Worrying
-
A lawsuit charges that a salad dressing popularized on "The Biggest Loser" is lying about the fat, calories and sodium on its label. The suit claims that the stuff has several times the bad stuff in each serving. Can't this be handled differently? Just have an independent lab test the stuff, and if the numbers are close to the label, the case gets dismissed. If it's wildly different, judgment for the plaintiff. Easier and more sensible than a drawn-out trial or negotiation. (Los Angeles Times)
