I'm Waiting For 6G
-
This article points out that, with all the hype about Verizon's LTE and Sprint's WiMax, what they're calling "4G" isn't really 4G. Is it faster than 3G? Yeah. Is it a LOT faster? Sometimes, not always. Is it 4G as defined by the people who are supposed to define it? Well, no, not really, but 4G long ago became a marketing term. Do you need it? Probably not, not for a cell phone, anyway, unless you watch a lot of movies on your cell. It might be good if you use wireless broadband for your computer, but it's not cheap. (CNN Money)
