Maybe This Explains How Dane Cook Gets On "Comedy" Central

We get what we deserve, which is why cable networks are veering off course from their original missions and showing stuff that doesn't fit. See, if, say, the Weather Channel just shows stuff about the WEATHER, young morons... er, viewers won't watch, because the weather's for old people. So they're showing movies. The "M" in AMC used to stand for movies, but it doesn't stand for anything anymore. A&E has nothing to do with Arts and arguably little to do with Entertainment; it's all reality shows and "Sopranos" reruns now. There's no real "learning" on TLC, formerly The Learning Channel. Game Show Network's showing Carnie Wilson losing weight on a reality show. And we all know what happened to the "M" in MTV.
