A study says that the odds someone's used your Social Security number is one in seven. 40 million of 290 million numbers analyzed by a San Diego company had been used by more than one person, sometimes by theft, sometimes the result of a typo. And the government knows when it happens and won't tell you. They don't think you have a right to know. Why not? (MSNBC)
