Orange County, CA is taking a shot at a law to prevent sex offenders from going to beaches, parks and harbor areas because kids might be there. Anything to keep sex offenders away from the general public is good, but this is probably unconstitutional. It would be hard for the county to justify why sex offenders can't, for example, own a boat, or swim in the ocean. (Los Angeles Times)
