Their Clientele Is The Kind That Goes Wild Over A $1.98 Water Bottle
-
A sports book customer at the Palms casino in Vegas won his lawsuit against the resort. What happened? They had some cheerleaders throwing water bottle prizes into the crowd, and some other customer fell on him while diving for a bottle, causing some injuries. The result: a $6.6 million judgment. The resort claims it didn't authorize the throwing and the cheerleaders were outside contractors, but I think it's simpler than that: The fault is with the moron who felt the need to dive to catch a water bottle. That was the negligence. But that guy's probably without deep pockets. (Las Vegas Sun)
