Bargain Of The Century, While It Lasts
-
This guy's a blind photographer -- wait, what? How does he pull that off? -- and he has cheap rent in Greenwich Village. How cheap? $127 a month, rent-controlled. Now, the owner of the building's selling, and with rent controls facing extinction if the Legislature fails to renew them, his rent can and will skyrocket. But is it reasonable for anyone to be paying $127 a month in Manhattan in the first place? (New York Post; Thanks to Jeff Katz at WXKS (Talk 1200)/Boston for the link)
