Few things are forever, but alimony, at least in Massachusetts, seems to be one of them: A judge ruled that a husband has to continue to pay alimony even after retirement, and if he can't afford the payments on a fixed income, he'll just have to keep working until he dies. It's been ten years since the divorce; she couldn't get a job in that time? She couldn't get training or education? Why is the responsibility always one-way?
