I'm Sure The TV Show Based On MY Life Will Take Some Liberties, Too
-
How accurate is TV? Not very, of course, but this TV station (an ABC affiliate, naturally) did a sweeps-month story comparing a real-life medical examiner's day to that depicted in the ABC series "Body of Proof." The result: it's a lot more boring. The medical examiner doesn't go to a crime scene and solve the crime there. The lab isn't a glitzy set with floor-to-ceiling glass. She doesn't get involved with the suspects. In other words, nothing you'd watch on TV. Which is why they call it fiction.
