The CDC says that if you're over 50 years old, you should always, ALWAYS cook deli meats to over 165 degrees to avoid listeria. Always. And they've been telling us that for 15 years. But nobody does it, because, well, who cooks deli meats other than the occasional hot pastrami? And how many people really get listeria? (USA Today)
