Hey, I Didn't Know You Were In The "Fans Of David Hasselhoff" Group
-
A group that wants to show users how easy it is to compromise security on Facebook has been hijacking Facebook groups to show how it can be done. Simply, if a group administrator leaves, any member of the group can step up and take over. And when they do, except for really large groups, they can change the name (they give the example that they can change it to something that makes it look like you're in support of pedophiles) and carpet-bomb members with messages. Facebook says that the groups are secure, sort of. Perhaps they should, you know, take care of this one.
