Here's a school that felt the need to issue an edict banning hot pants and G-strings from graduation ceremonies, even under commencement gowns. Apparently, they've had problems with that. If it's under the gown, who'd notice? I guess some kids took off the gowns. What kids have to remember is that these ceremonies aren't really for them. They're for the families. Graduations are boring and stiff, but that's because they're for the parents to be proud. If that's hard for the graduates to stomach, they only have to behave for a couple of hours. After that, they can do what they want. (Chicago Sun-Times)
