Now the San Francisco ballot measure to outlaw circumcision has been pulled from the ballot altogether by a judge. The judge ruled that circumcision is a standard medical procedure, and that the state, not the city, regulates medical services. But even if it WAS on the ballot, how can you ban something that's a) a parent's choice, b) a religious rite, and c) of debatable "harm" (millions and millions of men who've been circumcised have no ill effects from it)?
