The New Oxford American Dictionary's 2009 Word of the Year: Unfriend, as in Facebook. It beat out "netbook," "sexting," "hashtag," "freemium," "teabagger" (um, that's not new, it just, ah, has a different, you know, meaning), and "tramp stamp."
