It's 2011. They Don't Videotape Every Case?
-
This guy served three years in jail, but he insisted all along that the judge only sentenced him to two years. Lo and behold, the transcript of his case said it was two years, so he pushed the issue. And then they came up with a "revised" transcript that said three. So he said he heard "two years," and the transcript confirmed, then, mysteriously, they revised it. And the stenographer and judge say they don't remember the case at all. Think the prosecutors "fixed" the discrepancy? (New York Times)
