And A Physics Professor Is Lucky To Afford A Studio Apartment
-
Former University of Tennessee men's basketball coach Bruce Pearl is selling his Knoxville home. It's 10,200 square feet and on the market for $2.69 million. $2.69 MILLION for a house in Knoxville? He's downsizing now that he lost his job under an NCAA investigative cloud, and he says he "may not be doing quite as much entertaining," as if it's obvious that a basketball coach needs to do a lot of entertaining. Here's the thing: How can public colleges justify paying someone enough to afford a house like that? (Knoxville News-Sentinel; Thanks to Frank Murphy at WWST (Star 102.1)/Knoxville for the link)
