The problem for the at least 14 million unemployed people in America is that they're not just competing with each other for jobs, they're competing with a least 8.8 million people classified as underemployed, like part-timers needing full-time work, or people in jobs paying a fraction of what they need to get by. Of course, if the latter get the job, their OLD job opens up, but how long can that cycle go on? (AP via Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
